12th Annual Redland International Orchid Festival
Featuring over 60 vendors from all over the World and The U.S.;
Orchid supplies - two vendors to provide all you need to plant and grow orchids;
Lectures and Demonstrations - interesting and informative talks from orchid experts featuring the care and culture of species and hybrids suited to South Florida's climate;
Crafts - attractive and unusual orchid and/or garden related items from several vendors;
Walking Tours of the Park - conducted by park personnel at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. each day. Learn about all the interesting and exotic fruit and spice plants growing there;
Potting & Storage Tent - store your purchases while you continue to stroll around or have your bare root purchases repotted. Both services are provided by Orchidmania and the modest fees are devoted entirely to the care of children with AIDS;
US Department of Agriculture - inspectors will be on hand to provide phytosanitary certificates and CITES documentation for those wishing to take plants out of the country;
Rest Areas - where you can sit and relax in the shade;
The Park Store - near the entrance, offers a unique choice of preserves and bottled juices, as well as a variety of interesting books on plants and gardening;
An ATM - just in case you forgot your wallet/purse;
Lots of Free parking - the entrance to the parking lot is on SW 187 Avenue, just south of SW 248 Street and will be well signposted;
Food and Drink - a wide range of food vendors to satisfy every taste. Relax and refresh in clean, spacious tents.
