July 2005 Ribbon Judging
This one time, our judges were glad they didn't have so many plants to judge so they wouldn't miss Ruben's wonderful new presentation about growing orchids on trees in your yard. Not that all our programs are great, but our members are always excited about new presentations. Next month we look forward to more orchids on our judging tables.
Carol De Biase brought in a medium-sized Gramm. scriptum that was exceptionally clean and had more than numerous blooms on it. For this, she won the only culture award for last month. The orchid had 7 inflorescences supporting 546 flowers. The orchid was grown in a milk crate and was very well presented. Congratulations! Other awards are as follows:
