Thank you for all the orchids at the meeting and for our exhibit at the Miami Show. Even if we don't use your orchid for the exhibit, we have an excellent choice to choose from. That's what's important. The show judging results will be in next month's bulletin.

Even though we had plenty of orchids at the judging tables, do you see a pattern there? Notice that only 3-4 people brought most of the plants. We encourage everyone to bring in your orchid(s) for judging. We like to see new members bring in what they have bloomed, no matter how small, common, or seemingly unimportant to you it might be. Let the judges determine how nice your orchid is. Please, if it's in bloom, bring it in!

Dana Greenberg received culture last month for her well-grown Den. superbum. There were 322 flowers on 14 pendulous canes. Flowers were typical white with purple overlay and a darker lavender lip. Click here for a closeup of the flowers.
