March 2007 Ribbon Judging
Many orchids have been delayed by the late cool spells we've had lately. However, some orchids are stimulated by cooler weather and are blooming late. We've had a warm winter and a cooler spring, which seems to mix up the blooming schedules of many orchids.
Our judging program appears to be functioning up to par, with our biggest concern is getting everything judged before the main program starts. We have to start judging no later than 7:30 PM in order to meet this demand. That means you need to have orchids registered & on the tables when judging starts.
We are always looking for people who are interested in helping on the judging teams. It's easy, educational and fun. We'll team you up with experienced judges that will show you what to look for in award-winning orchids. Experience is the best teacher.
