Thank
You for your orchids and hard work for those who participated at our Annual
Show at the gardens of R.F. Orchids. Remember, registered orchids are
judged by AOS teams, and plants receiving ribbons are awarded double
points towards our ribbon judging program.
We
had two Culture Awards at the
show. Jim Lindberg received
culture for his Bulb. carrianum and for his Bulb. moniliforme. Congratulations for growing such fine specimens. We also had members receive our
prestigious EEOS Award. Jim and Melana received a silver for their Rsc. Pink
Empress, which received 83 points. R.F.
Orchids received two silvers for their V. Tiab,
82 points, Aer. odorata, 85 points, and one
bronze for their Kgw. Judy Mezey,
77 points. Congratulations, Jim &
Melana, and R.F Orchids.
We
look forward to the new year and many more of our members’ orchids making
