The Blue Ridge Orchid Society of South Carolina, an American Orchid Society Affiliate, meets monthly in the beautiful Upstate of South Carolina. The society organizes an annual orchid show, annual orchid plant sale, and offers regular programs at monthly meetings.

The Coastal Carolina Orchid Society is a non-profit organization affiliated with the American Orchid Society. It gives people interested in orchids in the Charleston, South Carolina area an opportunity to learn more about orchids and a chance to interact with other orchid enthusiasts. Originally chartered in 1977, the society was reorganized in February 1996, after being inactive for several years. As of January 2004, it has 127 active members.

This Savannah, Georgia based society has been formed for the enjoyment of its members and the education of the public in the keeping of orchids. Some of the many society benefits include; monthly meetings, an informative newsletter, an orchid resource library, a spring show, participation in the Coastal Empire Fair, as well as greenhouse tours and guest speakers.

The Sandhills Orchid Society is a nonprofit orchid society located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The purpose of the society is to promote the advancement of knowledge and the appreciation of orchids. It welcomes all who are interested in orchids in particular, but also anyone who appreciates flowers of all types. The society meets monthly in Fayetteville, NC at the MacPherson Presbyterian Church.

The Triangle Orchid Society meets on the second Monday of the month at 7:30 PM at the Sarah P. Duke Gardens, at 418 Anderson St., in Durham, NC. Visitors are welcome!
