Question
Where can I purchase the fungicides Cleary 3336 WP and Banrot? I've been searching for these for months and if I don't find them soon I fear I will loose an entire tray of young plants.
Bonnie - Portland, OR - USA

Answer
You can try OFE International (www.ofe-intl.com), or maybe a local agricultural supply company.

Question
I have noticed that you have received questions from people living here in Mexico. I have a collection of orchids and would like to purchase more. Does anyone know where to buy them here in Mexico? Someone from Jalisco bought a purple one on the street.I would guess that it is a native Laelia. Thanks.
Julie - La Manzanilla Del Mar, Jalisco - Mexico

Answer
Julie, since you're already in Mexico and we're in South Florida, you probably be steps ahead to try an Internet search for the plants you want or contact a local orchid society in your area. Thanks for the question & for visiting EEOS.

Answer
Hi Julie. Thanks for your question. After a quick search on the American Orchid Society's web site, I found an orchid club in Jalisco for you: Asoc. de Orquideologia de Jalisco, A.C. (meets on the 1st Tuesday of every month, at 8:00 PM), Jaime Piza, Paseo Torreon 3412 (Col. San Javier), Guadalajara, Jalisco 45510, MEXICO, Phone: 1-3-825-9141. It would be a good idea to contact them for information on local vendors. You also might want to join the club, if it's not too far away. If that doesn't work for you, try contacting the Asoc. Mexicana de Orquideologia, A.C. by phone (52-52592023) or e-mail.
