Edwin was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to the US in 1987. Edwin started growing orchids in 1988, after going to an orchid show, he got hooked. He collect species, and miniature, He says "the smaller the better." He belongs to 3 orchid societies, and started as an apprentice judge for AOS, Caribbean Division in July 99, and then became a student Judge in June 2000. The mini class will be on how he grows these wonderful miniature plants, and the main lecture will be a slide presentation on his collection.
