Tonight's Program:
Bob Hatos
Orchids In Your Garden And On Your Trees

Bob Hatos

Bob's presentation will consist of a short introduction, followed by a slide show. The mini class will be on the various ways to grow and propagate Pendant Dendrobiums.

He and his wife have just recently started a small business 'Partnership'. This came about as a result of their rather intense interest in Orchids. They started collecting as hobby growers about 17 years ago and now specialize in the Vandaceous group and "Pendant' type Dendrobiums. They have made over 100 hybrids using plants that mostly came from Fred and Bob Fuchs.

Currently, Bob Hatos is second Vice President of the South Dade Amateur Orchid Club, where he and his wife have been members for about 14 years. They have become members of EEOS shortly after its inception, but after several years were forced to drop out because of Bob's new, early schedule at work. He is also a member of AOS and the South Florida Orchid Society.

A brand new program on dendrobiums from an old member of our club. This looks like a winner. I hope to see all of you there this month!

Come and join us as we explore this wonderful group of plants.
