Tonight's Program:
Bob Hatos
Pendant Dendrobiums

Bob Hatos

Bob became a member of 'EEOS' near its beginning. He is also a member of the South Florida Orchid Society and the American Orchid Society. He and his wife have lived in south Miami-Dade County for over 35 years.

With the help of several family members and his wife 'Sandy' a small business has developed in their back yard green house. They have been collecting, growing and hybridizing Orchids for the last 20 years.

One of their favorite types of Orchids are Pendant Dendrobiums, such as pierardii - superbum - Adastra and a rather new hybrid they found in Hawaii, 'Little Sweetscent'.

Tonight the program will include, a short 'Power Point' slide show, followed by a talk on different ways to multiply and grow these wonderfully fragrant, easy to grow, beautiful plants. Bob will provide plants for the silent auction and have more plants for sale at the meeting.

This program promises to be a great one! Bob's talks are always entertaining and informative and his knowledge of pendant dendrobiums is beyond question. In addition, he always brings fantastic plants to sell when he talks at our club, so don't forget to bring those checkbooks!!! I hope to see everyone there!

Come and join us as we explore this wonderful group of plants.
