| The EEOS won first place in its category at the 19th World Orchid Conference with a gorgeous 200 sq. ft. exhibit put on by Valerie Foster and her group of volunteers, which included Jim and Melana Davison, David Foster, Kim Belisle, Patty Garland, David Schaffter, Christa Collins, Eduardo Marcellini, and Fred Armando. Jim Lindberg and Adriana Armando also helped break it down on Sunday. Kudos to all of them. Make sure you congratulate Valerie and the volunteers the next time you see them. Thanks to them, the East Everglades Orchid Society made a very good impression at this world-class event. |
